Ordering
Do I pay before delivery
Not necessarily. Cash on delivery is available in Nairobi and Kiambu. For M-Pesa we send the till number once the order is confirmed, and most customers pay when the rider arrives. Card and bank transfer are settled before the goods leave the shop.
Is the price on the site the final price
Yes for the item. Delivery is added at checkout based on your area, and it is charged once for the whole order. There are no other fees.
Does the site show real stock
It does. Every listing shows what is on the shelf right now, counted from our own stock book. If a line is out, it says out of stock rather than taking your money and stalling.
Can I collect instead of paying for delivery
Choose Collect from store at checkout. The order is ready at the counter within two hours during opening hours and collection is free. We are at Familia Business Centre, Luthuli Lane off Mfangano Street, opposite Sheraton Hotel.
Can I order by phone or WhatsApp
Yes. Call 0707 156 062 or message us on WhatsApp with the item name or the item number from the listing, and we will put the order together for you.
Products and fitting
How do I know I am buying the right part
Bring the broken part to the counter, or send a photograph on WhatsApp. Matching by eye takes two minutes and saves a second trip across town. Each listing also carries a specification table with the rating, size and material.
Can somebody fit it for me
We can arrange a certified electrician or plumber within Nairobi for electricals, showers and plumbing. Ask before you order so the visit is booked for the delivery day.
Are the electrical goods to standard
We stock only goods that meet the applicable Kenyan standard. Cable is sold by the metre off full drums, and we will tell you the size a given load needs rather than selling you the cheapest.
What is the item number for
Every product has an item number shown on its page. Quote it when you call, message or come to the counter and we will find the exact line without guesswork.
Trade and site orders
Do you sell to contractors at trade prices
We do, above a quantity. Send your bill of quantities and we will price the whole schedule rather than making you add items one by one.
Can you deliver to a site
Yes. Give the site details at checkout and drop a location pin so the rider finds the gate. For heavy loads we send a pickup and agree the charge with you first.
Do you invoice
Yes. Ask when you place the order and we issue an invoice against the order reference.
